5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ Brief History The petitioner is LS consumer having Sanctioned Load as 1632.609 KW. The consumer was charged Rs. 598751/- on account of Weekly Off Days Voilation as per report of Sr.Xen/MMTS-1, Ludhiana dt. 21.2.13. The amount was charged by treating this industry as Power Intensive Unit. Proceedings The consumer represented that his unit falls in General Category and in previous ZDSC meeting dt. 17.6.2013 in another case of this consumer, it was decided to treat this unit as General Category Consumer. Accordingly, ZDSC in his previous meeting had directed P.O. to get the revised calculations of WOD Violations by treating this unit as General Category Consumer. P.O. presented a copy of memo no. 1051 dt. 12.8.13 of ASE/MMTS-1, Ludhiana vide which he submitted revised calculations by treating this unit as GENERAL CATEGORY Industry. As per revised calculations, an amount of Rs. 56636/- was chargeable to this consumer. Decision After detailed deliberations, the committee unanimously decided to accept report of ASE/MMTS-1, Ludhiana vide which an amount of Rs. 56636/- has been re-calculated as WOD Violations by treating this unit as General Category Consumer. Recalculatios should be done and consumer should be informed accordingly. The case is decided.
