4.  ਵਰਨਣ The consumer challenged the meter, which was changed & taken to ME Lab. As per challan no:120409 dt: 10.4.12, the results of the meter were found within limits.
5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ Sh. Satish Kumar attended the meeting. The bills for 1/12 & 2/12 issued to the consumer were for RS 77850/- & Rs. 71890/- i.e. 1,49,740/- & out of the same consumer deposited Rs 75454/- on average basis. The consumer challenged the meter, which was changed & taken to ME Lab. As per challan no:120409 dt: 10.4.12, the results of the meter were found within limits. The consumer pleaded that his consumption in the last years was consistent & never crossed 9000 units. The committee studied the consumption pattern, the report of ME Lab & also observed that during the month of 1/12 & 2/12. The KWH & KVAH consumption of the meter had increased proportionally, which means no one mal-functioning of the meter. After detailed deliberation committee unanimously decided that the amount charged to the consumer was correct & recoverable.
