5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ Sh. Anil Mittal (Owner) & Sh. Rajesh Mittal attended the meeting. This consumer was charged Rs 2,83,946/- . This connection was checked by ASE/MMTS-2 vide ECR No-35/ 1533 dt: 11.8.11 & observed that meter display was off. Meter was changed on 18.8.11 & taken to ME Lab vide challan no: 110822/29444 dt: 29.12.11 & found the results within limits. AO/Field vide his letter no: 1162 dt: 18.7.12 directed to charge the consumer based on his recorded consumption of same month of previous year. CBC vide RBS No-82/2012 dt: 14.8.12 overhauled the accounts from 14.7.11 to 18.8.11 i.e. for 35 days by taking the actual recorded consumption of the same month of previous year by calculating per day consumption. The consumer in his written re-presentation objected to the method of overhauling & requested to take the per day consumption as 2629.28 units based on the average per day calculated for last 2 years. Committee deliberated the case, listened to oral & written submission made by consumer & decided to overhaul the account by taking the consumption recorded in preceding 3 months i.e. 5,6,7 year 2010, which was recorded as 84927, 82839 & 72634 respectively. The accounts may be overhauled and revised calculations should be made & consumer should be informed accordingly.
