5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The case came up for hearing before the committee again on 21-09-12. Er. Darshan Singh, Dy. CE/DS Circle Kapurthala presented the case before the committee for discussion. Sh. Mukhtiar Singh Dahia consumer in person was present before the Committee.The consumer has also submitted his representation dated 18-09-12 already placed on record and the comments of Dy. CE/DS Circle, Kapurthala have also been received. The case has been discussed at length. The observance of peak load hours restrictions are given due publicity including the news on All India Radio, Internet web of the PSPCL and other means. The violation of peak load hours restrictions bythe consumer are clear in this case. The amount, thus, charged in this case is fully justified. The account of the consumer may be overhauled, accordingly. Interest/surcharge on the recoverable amount may also be recovered as per rules/instructions of PSPCL.
