5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The case came up for hearing before the committee again on 21-09-12. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy. CE/DS Circle Jalandhar presented the case before the committee for discussion. Sh. Parmjit, Electrician & Sh. Rajesh Pabbi working in Municipal Corporation, Phagwara were present on behalf of the consumer before the committee. This is a case of wrong multiplying factor applied to calculate monthly consumption. Accordingly, the amount has been charged and full amount has been deposited by the consumer and no further action is made out in this case and the representatives of the consumer have nothing to add to it. During the discussions, it has been pointed out by the representatives of the consumer that this is a simple case of negligence on the part of the officials of the concerned Sub-Division of PSPCL Phagwara. It is desired that appropriate enquiry be conducted by the Dy. CE/DS Circle, PSPCL, Jalandhar and disciplinary proceedings may be initiated against the delinquent officials.
