5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The case came up for hearing before the committee again on 01-06-12. Er. Gopal Sharma, SE/DS Circle Jalandhar presented the case before the committee for discussion. Sh. Satinder Singh, Supervisor was present on behalf of the consumer before the committee. The case was discussed at length. This is a case of meter jumping. However, the average amount charged from the month of April, 2010 to December, 2010 is on lower side. On scrutinizing the case in detail, the committee observed the consumption of the consumer for the year 2011 when the status of the meter was O.K., the maximum consumption recorded during the month of August, 2011 was 8456 units, which is the corresponding year when the meter showed jumping. After deliberation, the committee decided to charge @ 8456 units bi-monthly for the period from April, 2010 to December, 2010. The case is decided according. The account of the consumer may be overhauled. Interest/refund on the recoverable/refundable amount may also be recovered/refunded as per rules/instructions of PSPCL.
