5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The case came up for hearing before the committee again on 06-07-2012. Er. Gopal Sharma, SE/DS Circle Jalandhar presented the case before the committee for discussion. Sh. S.K. Vatta was present on behalf of the consumer. The representation of the consumer has been considered in detail. The case was discussed at length and full opportunity was given to the representative of the consumer to represent his case. The matter regarding rebate of 7.5 per cent for the consumer whose load is above 100 KW and getting supply on 11KV, are not eligible. The same has been clarified by the office of the Chief Engineer/Commercial, PSPCL, Patiala vide Memo No.15132 dated 26-03-2010 and memo No. 797/829/Tariff dated 15-06-2012. Accordingly, the Committee decides that as per CC No. 36/2006 (General Condition of Tariff Clause No. 13.5), amount be charged by the concerned office as per PSPCL instructions. Accordingly, the Committee decided the case. The account of the consumer may be overhauled. Interest on the recoverable amount may also be recovered as per rules/instructions of PSPCL.
