5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The case,again,came up for hearing before the committee on 27-06-2014. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee. No one was present on behalf of consumer. The case has been discussed at length. This case was adjourned earlier for want of specific instructions about the basic question of allowing rebate of 7.5% to the consumer having connected load more than 100 KW and supplied at 11 KV line. The PSERC has vide its order dated 1-8-2012 passed in petition No. 37 of 2012 decided as under:- “A rebate of 7.5% is admissible to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. having connected load of more than 100 KW and supplied at 11 KV, upto 31-03-2010. The Commission further decides that this order shall be applicable to all similarly placed consumers.” In view of the above decision rebate of 7.5% is admissible to the eligible DS/NRS consumers having sanctioned load of more than 100 KW and supplied at 11 KV upto 31-3-2010. The case of the consumer is decided accordingly and the account of the consumer be overhauled and the amount recoverable/refundable if any be recovered/refunded from/to the consumer after due verification and getting the same pre-audited.

1 Sun 26, Aug 2012  The case came up for hearing before the committee on 26.8.12 Er.Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/ DS Circle Jalandhar presented the case before the committee for discussion. Sh. O.P.Thakur, Sr.Manager was present on behalf of the consumer before the committee and he has submitted his representation and the copy of the same be supply to the Dy.CE/DS Circle Jalandhar for his comments . Mr. Thakur has further submitted that his case is identical to other case on similar grounds and he relies upon the judgment of Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission dt. 1.8.12, copy of the judgment is enclosed with his representation and is placed on record. In the interest of justice, this is deferred to the next date.
