5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case again came up for hearing on 27-06-2014 before the committee. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee. Sh. Sunil Vatta CA appeared on behalf of the consumer and due hearing was given to him. The case has been discussed at length. This case was adjourned earlier for want of specific instructions about the basic question of allowing rebate of 7.5% to the consumer having connected load more than 100 KW and supplied at 11 KV line. The PSPCL vide his Commercial Circular No. 18/2014 has communicated the APTEL decision dated 7-3-14 regarding admissibility of 7.5% rebate to DS/NRS consumer at 11 KV supply voltage upto 31-3-2010. The Extract from the APTEL above decision is reproduced as under. “A rebate of 7.5% is admissible to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. having connected load of more than 100 KW and supplied at 11 KV, upto 31-03-2010. The Commission further decides that this order shall be applicable to all similarly placed consumers.” In view of the above decision rebate of 7.5% is admissible to the eligible DS/NRS consumers having sanctioned load of more than 100 KW and supplied at 11 KV upto 31-3-2010. The case of the consumer is decided accordingly and the account of the consumer be overhauled and the amount recoverable/refundable if any be recovered/refunded from/to the consumer after due verification and getting the same pre-audited.

1 Sun 26, Aug 2012  The case came up for hearing before the committee on 26.8.12 Er.Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/ DS Circle Jalandhar presented the case before the committee for discussion. Sh. S.K. Vatta was present on behalf of the consumer before the committee alongwith Power of Attorney. The consumer has submitted his detailed representation which has been placed on record and the copy of the same be supply to the Dy.CE/DS Circle Jalandhar for his comments to all the members of the ZDSC.
