5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ Sh. Baljinder Singh attended the meeting. This consumer was charged Rs 218819/- as per the report of Sr.Xen/MMTS-1, Ludhiana dt: 9.8.12. As per this DDL printout, the consumer was found violating weekly off day on dt: 7.8.12.Also, the load of 2393.3 KW was found running at 8.30 AM on 7.8.12. Consumer pleaded that his weekly off day was on 6.8.12 (Monday) & he had run his load on 7.8.12 at 8.30 AM in view of telephone message no: 370/11 dt: 6.8.12. Consumer was made to understand that this telephone message was applicable only on those consumers, whose weekly off day was on 7.8.12, but since his weekly off day was on 6.8.12 & as per telephone message no: 370/11 dt: 6.8.12 & subsequent P.R. Circular no:9/12 dt: 13.9.12 his weekly off day was to continue up to Tuesday morning up to 8.30 Hrs. Committee deliberated the case & unanimously decided that the amount charged to the consumer was OK & recoverable.
