5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ Sh. Gurcharan Grover, CAO of M/a. Budhewal Sugar Mill appeared before the Committee on behalf of M/s. Jagaraon Sugar Mill. The petitioner is having a connection for sugar mail with sanctioned load of 77.59KW. The meter of the petitioner was declared defective by the meter reader in the month 4/2012. Audit party vide H.M. No 49 dated 18.6.12 overhauled the account of the petitioner for the period 6/2011 to 3/2012 taking base of the consumption recorded in the corresponding months of the previous year i.e. 2010. The petitioner instead of depositing the amount approached the office of CE/DS and requested to consider his case for ZDSC which was accepted vide Memo No 12092/95 dt. 26.11.12. The petitioner pleaded the case and requested the Committee that average charged during the months 6/12 to 9/12 is on the higher side and should be reviewed. Committee members after going through the record of the case i.e. report of ME lab, consumption data and audit note, unanimously decided that the amount charged is ok and recoverable.
