5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The relevant consumption data, since 3/1999 to 1/2013 of the consumer\'s account (i.e. before the MCO affected on 04-03-2011and afterwards) and report sent by Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar vide his Memo. No. 7181 dated 20-03-2012 has been perused and discussed at length. The maximum consumption recorded from the year 1999 to till date was recorded in January, 2009 and the same is 536 units. So 82286 units recorded in five bimonthlies is neither possible nor feasible with the sanctioned load of 0.500 KW. In view of the above and as seen from the perusal of the consumption data, the Committee is of the opinion that it is certainly a case of meter jumping. Therefore, the account of the consumer be overhauled as per highest consumption recorded during that period i.e. 1/2009 which is 536 units for the disputed period that is from 3/2009 to 11/2009 ( i.e. for five bimonthlies). The account of the consumer be revised alongwith interest accordingly and amount may be charged/adjustment be made through future energy bills.
