5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The case has been deliberated at length. The core question in this case is whether it is a case of meter jumping or concealment of consumption. After due deliberation and discussion, it has been found that it is not a case of jumping and perusal of the consumption data with respect to sanctioned load and also remarks of the SDO in this case shows that it is not a case of meter jumping at all. The consumption proves that it is a case of concealment. The consumer was also confronted with it and he had nothing to rebut in this behalf. In view of the deliberations, it is a simple case of concealment of consumption. The comparison of the LDHF also proves this. After hearing the consumer and deliberations, it is decided that the total amount worked out in this case is chargeable from the consumer. The interest of the disputed amount may be regulated as per instructions of the PSPCL.

1 Fri 07, Jun 2013  This case came up for hearing before the committee on 17-05-2013. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee for discussion. The consumer Sh. Rakesh Kumar appeared in person. The case has been deliberated. The consumer wants to submit his detailed and fresh representation to support his contention. The consumer has been directed to submit his representation within 7 days to Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar who will forward the same with his comments to the ZDSC within 7 days. The Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar is directed to explain why the connection of the consumer was not disconnected in this case due to nonpayment of bill right from 02/2012. The explanation of SDO concerned should be submitted along with comments. Dy.CE/DS Jalandhar shall also ensure that up to date consumption of the consumer is also furnished along with this comments. The case is adjourned to the next meeting.
