5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The case has been discussed at length. The meter is not working properly and the reading has not been recorded properly by the Meter Reader because he adopted a wrong method of reading. In this case the meter is an electronic one and as per the report of ME Lab dated 23-07-2013 the meter has not functioned properly on adopting correct method of taking reading. The case is decided on the basis of ME report and method adopted by the ME Lab in its report. The account of the consumer be overhauled accordingly as per instructions of the PSPCL. The interest on the disputed amount may be levied as per instructions of PSPCL.

1 Thu 29, Aug 2013  The file has been put up for necessary orders as it is placed on the agenda. SE/DS Circle Kapurthala vide his letter No. 16804 dated 24-7-13 has intimated that the consumer has not deposited the requisite amount of 20% to entitle the fixation of the case. In view of this, the case is ordered to be dropped from the agenda and the concerned office is directed to take necessary action in accordance with the sanction dated 16-7-2013 on the file.
2 Wed 25, Sep 2013  The case came up for hearing before the committee on 29-08-2013. Er. Sandeep Kumar, SE/DS Circle, Kapurthala presented the case before the committee. Sh. Darshan Singh representative of the consumer appeared before the committee. He has submitted that the amount of Rs. 317340/- has already been deposited in this case on 03-08-2013. He has submitted his representation which is placed on record and a copy of the same is provided to SE DS Circle, Kapurthala for comments within 7 days. SE/DS Circle, Kapurthala is directed to offer his comments with a copy to consumer. The case is adjourned to the next date.
