5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The case has, again, been discussed at length. As agreed in the last meeting, the report of the AAE dated 02.01.14 has been received and placed in record which verifies the meter to be OK. Accordingly, in the interest of justice and fair play, the account of the consumer may be overhauled by taking average of 4/12, 5/12 and 6/12 i.e. 3278 units per month for the disputed period and the case is decided accordingly. The interest on the disputed amount may be levied as per instructions of PSPCL.

1 Wed 25, Sep 2013  The case came up for hearing before the committee on 29-08-2013. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee. Sh. S.K. Vatta Counsel of the consumer was present. The Counsel has filed the Power of Attorney which is placed on record. The counsel has also filed his representation which is also placed on record. A copy of the same has been provided to Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar with the direction that he will offer his comments within 7 days thereof with a copy to the consumer. The record as asked for and permissible may also be supplied to the counsel who will submit his further rejoinder, if any, within 7 days thereof. The case is adjourned to the next date.
2 Thu 21, Nov 2013  This case again came up on 31-10-2013 in the meeting. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy. CE.DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee. Sh. A.K. Kalra (Retired XEN PSEB) representative of the consumer appeared before the committee and due hearing was given to him. The case has been discussed at length. There is a variation in various documents of the case regarding the status of meter i.e. the meter is shown as burnt etc. Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar is directed to get the challan of the meter and certify the status of the meter to arrive at the truth of the case and to give the justice to the consumer. The case is adjourned to the next meeting.
3 Thu 31, Oct 2013  This case again came up on 25-09-2013 in the meeting. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy. CE.DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee.Sh. A.K. Kalra representative of the consumer appeared before the committee on behalf of the consumer and submitted his representation. A copy of representation of the consumer has given to Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar with the instructions that he may offer his comments on the representation of the consumer and submit to ZDSC with a copy of consumer within 7 days. The case is adjourned to the next date.
