5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The case has been discussed at length. The consumer is an educational institution and the consumption during the previous months has been stated to be on a/c of the fact that the school premises were occupied for election and other purposes by the Govt. Considering all the aspects of the case and after hearing the consumer, it is decided that the account be overhauled from the date of change of meter i.e during 05/2012 and the previous corresponding period from 05/2011 for 11 months be taken as basis for the settlement of this case. The average units comes 1808 units per month for the disputed period. The account of the consumer be overhauled as above and all the payments already deposited by the consumer may be adjusted as per instructions of PSPCL. The consumer being educational institution, the total amount worked out be charged and recovered from the consumer in 4 equal monthly installments.

1 Wed 25, Sep 2013  The case came up for hearing before the committee on 29-08-2013. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee. Mrs. Nandni Dhir Vice Principal appeared before the committee in person on behalf of the consumer. She has submitted the representation dated 29-08-2013 on behalf of the consumer which has been placed on record. A copy of the same has been supplied to Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar for comments within 7 days. He will further send a copy of comments to the consumer. The case is adjourned to the next meeting.
