The case has been discussed at length and the consumer has been given sufficient opportunity to explain and justify his stand. In this case the cursor of the meter was not functioning. The red phase CT was not functioning. The consumption of the consumer be enhanced by 50% for the disputed period and the account of the consumer be overhauled as per PSPCL instructions. The interest on the disputed amount may be levied as per instructions of PSPCL.The case is decided accordingly.

Satnam Singh, owner, appeared before the committee and due hearing was given to him. The consumer is directed to submit his detailed petition to SE/DS Circle, PSPCL, Kapurthala within 7 days who will offer his comments upon the petition within 7 days to the committee with a copy to consumer. The case is deferred to the next meeting.
