The data of the meter reviewed after going through the printout found that the consumer violated the restriction of pick hour & off Peak hours from 13-07-2013 to 18-07-2013. Accordingly a notice was sent to the consumer for deposit Rs 3144295 as violation charges. The consumer challenge this Amount in Zonal level DSC.

The consumer has violated peak load hour restriction and weekly off day restrictions on the same day so both the charges for violation of restrictions are chargeable. Committee after deliberation decided that amount charged to the consumer is recoverable. The charged amount be recovered along with interest/surcharge as per instruction of the PSPCL.
