5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The consumer case was heard on 8.05.14 & finally decided on 28.05.14. Presenting officer has told the committee that in 12/2011 consumer\'s meter reading was recorded as 98258 where as in 2/12 this reading should be recorded in six digits but it was actually recorded only in four digits which was 3944 where as meter status was \"X\". So new reading , which was to be recorded was 103944. PO officer has told that due to this difference in 10/2013 the consumer\'s new reading was recorded as 102036 where as it should be 202036 & in 12/13 the consumers be issued for 7324 units in stead 107324 units. PO officer has also told the committee that consumers meter for the period 4/2011 to 12/2013 was of (AVON MAKE Sr. No. 725931, Cap. 3x10-60) make and during this period meter was not changing. After as per record presented by PO &his statement , the committee as decided that in 12/2013 the consumer be billed for 7324 units instead of 107324 units & bill the revised as per above for the month 12/2013. Consumer be informed accordingly.
