4.  ਵਰਨਣ This is a DS connection having sanctioned load of 2.30KW. The meter of the consumer was checked by meter inspector vide LCR no.72/752 dt.22.01.2014. As per LCR, the ultrasonic welding of meter appears to be pulled out and there is difference between the bill reading and spot reading. The A/c of the consumer was overhauled by taking the difference of final units as 94117-9507=84610 units and Rs.628120 were charged to the consuemer.
5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ Brief History This is a DS connection having sanctioned load of 2.30KW. The meter of the consumer was checked by meter inspector vide LCR no.72/752 dt.22.01.2014. As per LCR, the ultrasonic welding of meter appears to be pulled out and there is difference between the bill reading and spot reading. The A/c of the consumer was overhauled by taking the difference of final units as 94117-9507=84610 units and Rs.628120 were charged to the consuemer. The meter of the consumer was checked in ME Lab vide challan no.CH-140203/84611 dt.01.04.14. Both the ME seals of the meter were found tempered. The consumer concealed his actual consumption by approaching the figures in the meter. AS per LCR, the meter reading is recorded as 94117 whereas during checking in the ME Lab, it is found as 09675. Proceedings Sh. Manpreet Singh, grandson & Sh. Vikram Singh, relative of Sh. Jagir Singh appeared before the committee. In the meeting dt.30.05.2014, the consumer was asked to submit his petition. In today’s meeting, P.O. presented parawise comments of ASE/Op., CMC Divn., Ludhiana on the petition of the consumer which was studied by the committee. Decision The committee studied the whole case and unanimously decided that as per ME challan/report, the consumer should be charged as per final reading of 09675 units.
