5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case, again, came up for hearing before the committee on 26-09-2014. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee. Sh.Sushil Malhotra Liaison Officer of NKG Infracture Ltd. Jalandhar Cantt. appeared before the committee, in person and due hearing was given to him. DECISION: The case has been discussed at length. The representative of the consumer when confronted the consumption data, he has no reply or reason explained for the various variations in consumption. He was further confronted to explain any reason for this fluctuation/difference in the consumption figures. The consumer contested for the month of 10/13 that why average was charged when the reading was available. It was made clear to the consumer that if he could consider month 11/13, 10/13 together, it is clear that the meter was defective in the month of 11/13 because reading for the month of 11/13 remained same and it cannot be ascertained as to when the meter got defective in the month of 10/13. Hence, the average was charged to which the consumer agreed. The same is the case for the month of 9/12, 10/12 and 11/12 where average was charged. There is no other ground, contested by the consumer. Hence, committee decided to charge the average. The amount worked out already is fully justified be charged accordingly from the consumer as per instructions of PSPCL. The interest on the disputed amount may be levied as per instructions of PSPCL. The case is decided accordingly.

1 Fri 27, Jun 2014  The case came up for hearing before the committee on 27-06-2014. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee. Sh.Sushil Malhotra Liaison Officer NKG Infracture Ltd. Jalandhar Cantt appeared before the committee in person today. He is directed to file his authorization on the next date of hearing. He has submitted a representation on behalf of the consumer which has been placed on record and copy of the same is supplied to Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar for his comments within 7 days with a copy to the consumer for his rebuttal if any. The case is adjourned accordingly.
2 Thu 14, Aug 2014  This case, again, came up for hearing before the committee on 14-08-2014. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee. The consumer has filed a copy of Power of Attorney in favour of Mani Garg authorized signatory who has authorized Sh. Sushil Malhotra Liaison Officer which has been placed on record. A copy of comments on the representation of consumer, had already been sent to consumer and a copy of the same has again been supplied to him today. The representative wanted time to argue the case. The case was adjourned to be taken up in the afternoon. The case was thus again taken up in the afternoon when Sh. Sushil Malhotra has submitted a written application, placed on record, for grant of 4-5 days time for preparation of the reply. In the interest of justice the case is adjourned to the next date.
