5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The meter of the consumer was changed on the report of MMTS-3 Ludhiana vide checking report no 32/2388 dated 12.11.13. On the basis of this report, vide MCO no 170/97508 dated 28.11.13 meter was changed on dated 5.12.13 with IR 147KWH. The account of the petitioner was overhauled from 7.11.13 to 5.12.13 by taking consumption of corresponding months of previous year and a sum of Rs.4,14,593 was charged vide RBS No 57/2014 dated 16.7.14. The petitioner being not satisfied with the amount charged requested the office of CE/DS Central to consider his case for ZDSC which was accepted vide memo No 7532/33 dated 19.9.14 subject to deposit of 20% of the disputed amount. The petitioner is his petition submitted that the amount charged to his account is wrong and not in order. His average consumption of last 1year should be taken into account for overhauling the accounts which comes to approx. 51221 units. Committee defer the case in the previous meeting for want of the detail of average units 71065 charged to the consumer, Copy of RBS No. 24/2014 dated 10.3.2014 and Copy of Addl. SE/MMTS, Ludhiana memo No. 2096 dated 19.11.2013. The P.O. presented the desired documents alongwith comments\' on the petition of the consumer. The petitioner in his petition has claimed that the amount charged in the month 4/2013 is the same as is being charged now. The P.O. told that the amount charged relates to the period 7.11.203 to 5.12.2013 and it has no relevancy with the month of 4/2013 as claimed by the Petitioner n his petition. Today` s meeting, Sh. Paramjit Singh, Supervisor of the firm appeared before the Committee and pleaded that the amount charged is incorrect. P.O. told the Committee that the consumer was charged by taking 71065 units per month on the pro-rata basis from 8/11/2013 to 5.12.2013 and actual consumption from 6.12.2013 to 9.12.2013. The Committee decided that the amount charged is correct and recoverable.
