BUT THE CONSUMER WAS BILLED WRONGLY BY CONSIDERING MULTIPLYING FACTOR AS 1.00. NOTICE NO 3676 DATED 8.7.2014 AMOUNT OF RS 934475 DEFERENCE OF MULTIPLYING FACTOR WAS SEND TO CONSUMER TO DEPOSIT THE AMOUNT .BUT THE CONSUMER DID NOT DEPOSITED THE ABOVE AMOUNT AND SUBMITTED HIS CASE IN DSC.
5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ After hearing the consumer & Presenting officer the ZDSC decided the case of Ravinder Kumar S/O Banwari lal having A/C No GC43/0025 regarding application of wrong multiplying factor of energy meter/CT. So the amount charged to the consumer is for actual consumption of energy. The amount is recoverable along with surcharge& interest from the consumer. The Committee also decided that action taken for application of NRS category tariff to the consumer as per PSPCL instructions. Disciplinary action be also initiated against the delinquent officer/officials for application of wrong multiplying factor.
