4.  ਵਰਨਣ The meter of the consumer was running fast and the consumer challanged the same.
5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The consumer has connection with sanctioned load of 0.260 KW. In the month of 5/2014, the consumer received energy bill of 88891 units amounting to Rs.716612/-. The consumer challenged the bill for the month of 5/2014. On the request of the consumer, the meter was changed and got test from ME Lab and as per ME Lab report the results of the meter is within limit. In the previous meeting dated 28.1.2015, the case was deferred for want of some documents. The P.O. submitted the original consumer case and copies of billing ledgers concerned to the consumers. After scrutinizing the documents and reading record submitted by the P.O., the Committee decided that there is a case of wrong metering. The Committee decided that the account of consumer may be overhauled by taking the consumption of 4/2012 i.e. 59 units per month from 3/2014 till the date of change of meter. The Committee also decided that the amount should be charged from DS category to NRS category as per instructions of the PSPCL. The case is decided.
