5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ Brief History This is a LS connection. The sanctioned load/demand of the consumer is 468.690KW/365KVA. In 09/2014, the MDI was recorded as 205.40. After that, the MDI was not getting reset. In the meantime, the consumer got his load/demand increased by 281.310KW/385KVA. With this, his total sanctioned load/demand become 750KW/750KVA. SCO no. E32/S/14/219262/18019 dt. 03.09.2014 was effected on dt. 25.11.2014 by JE/AEE, Tech-2. For release of extension, existing CT/PT unit of capacity 20/5A was replaced with CT/PT unit of capacity 50/5A. Due to this, the new overall MF of the connection became 5 instead of earlier 2. On the SCO, the concerned JE has also remarked that MDI is not getting reset due to defective scroll. During 11/2014 and 12/2014, MDI was recorded as under: Month MDI MF Total 11/2014 205.40 5 1027KVA 12/2014 205.40 5 1027KVA Due to this, the consumer was charged demand surcharge for 11/2014 and 12/2014. The consumer being disagreed, approached the office of CE/Op., (C), and requested to consider his case in ZDSC which was accepted vide office memo no. 169 dt. 08.01.2015. Proceedings Sh. K.S. Marwaha, GM/HR of firm appeared before the committee. The consumer was asked to submit his petition. The committee directed P.O. to get petition from the consumer and submit comments his comments on the petition, copy of ME report, detailed comments of MMTS-3 on DDL, duly certified copy of up-to-date consumption data after applying correct MF on the relevant parameters and any other relevant document in the next meeting. P.O. presented all the above said documents required by the committee in the last meeting. Decision The committee, after studying all the documents and deliberating the whole case, unanimously decided that before the increase in load/demand, the MDI be considered as 410.80KW and after extension in load/demand, the MDI be increased proportionately with respect to increase in load/demand.
