5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ Brief History This is a DS connection having sanctioned load of 7.8KW. The consumer got energy bill for the month of 08/2014 with ‘X’ code for Rs.504320. On dt. 19.8.2014, the consumer challenged the meter by depositing meter challenge fee vide BA 16 no. 249/18750. ME Lab vide store challan no. 140922/10064 dt. 13.10.2014 reported” irjlt sImw iv~c hY[ fI.fI.AYl. lY ilAw hY[” The consumer being disagreed with the above report, approached the office of CE/Op., (C), and requested to consider his case in ZLDSC which was accepted vide office memo no. 1129 dt. 19.02.2015. Proceedings Sh. Jagdish Lal, the consumer himself appeared before the committee. In meeting dt. 05.03.2015, the consumer submitted his petition. The committee directed P.O. to submit comments on the petition of the consumer, copy of LCR no. 63/908 on the basis of which the meter was changed, copy of MCO duly signed with date of effectiveness, copy of job order vide meter in question was installed, comments of MMTS/Enforcement on complete DDL Report and fresh up-to-date consumption data with meter status and MF, if any, in the next meeting. In today’s meeting, P.O. presented the above documents before the committee. Decision The committee, after studying ME Lab report, DDL, comments of ME Lab on DDL, consumption pattern during last 3 years and deliberating the whole case, found that during the bi-monthly period of month 08/2014, the meter behavior was erratic. In the light of above, the committee unanimously decided that consumption for the bi-monthly billing month 08/2014 be overhauled with the consumption recorded during the corresponding month of the previous year (1260 units for 48 days) which comes to 2021 units for 77 days i.e. 1260 _____ X 77d =2021 units. 48 d
