5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The case came up for hearing before the committee on 23-09-2011. Sh. Nidish Shah, Facility Manager was present on behalf of the consumer. Er. Gopal Sharma, SE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee for discussion in detail. After examining the consumption data of the consumer in this case and keeping in view the earlier and subsequent consumption, it is a case of jumping of M.D.I. As such, no demand surcharge is applicable to the consumer in this case. The committee decided that excess amount charged from the consumer on account of demand surcharge be refunded alongwith interest to the consumer as per instructions of PSPCL.
