5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case came up for hearing before the committee on 24-04-2015. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee. Sh. V.K. Bahri appeared in person before the committee today on behalf of the consumer and he has filed his Power of Attorney which has been placed on record. He has submitted a copy of representation which has been placed on record and a copy of the same has been supplied to Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar for his comments within 7 days to the committee with a copy to consumer for his further action within the next 7 days. The case is adjourned to the next date i.e. 15-05-2015. Dated 21-05-2015: This case, again, came up for hearing before the committee on 21-05-2015. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee. Sh. V.K. Bahri appeared in person before the committee today on behalf of the consumer. DECISION: The case has been discussed at length. Addl.SE/EA&MMTS-I, PSPCL, Jalandhar has pointed out that on 24-11-14 at 20.00 hours MDI was recorded 1143.60 KVA and load survey report has shown that no data is available before 24-11-14. However at 20.30 hours on 24.11.14 again meter started MDI recording correctly. There was a defect in software of the meter and MMTS ordered to change the meter. Because MDI had been recorded due to erratic behaviour of the meter, hence, the amount is not recoverable and the account of the consumer may be overhauled as per instructions of PSPCL. The case is decided accordingly.
