5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ DATED 10-07-2015: This case, again, came up for hearing before the committee on 10-07-2015. Er. Pardeep Kumar , ASE/DS Division , Hoshiarpur presented the case on behalf of Dy.CE/DS Circle, Hoshiarpur before the committee. Sh. Balwant Singh Grewal, Chief Manager Mukerian Sugar Mill has appeared in person in this case. Sh. Balwant Singh Grewal has presented a copy of his representation dated 16-6-15 today and the same has been placed on record. The case was discussed at length and it was found that the case relates to the amount charged by CAG. However, the consumer contention is that this amount should not be charged through regular electricity bill but a separate notice should be served. Since the amount does not relates to Elecy. Consumption of connection, hence does not fall within the preview of ZDSC. However the committee decided that SE/DS Circle Hoshiarpur is directed to serve a separate notice regarding this amount instead of the electricity consumption bill as per instructions of PSPCL. The case is decided accordingly.
