The consumer was issued bill of Rs. 528360/- on 12.06.2015. The consumer was charged MMC of seasonal load in this bill of Rs. 512820/-. The consumer contended that it had applied for start of season on 15.09.2014 in the Sub Division. As such Seasonal MMC was not chargeable in this bill.

The Presenting Officer of the PSPCL clarified that there is no evidence of application of consumer for start of season on 15.09.2014. As no intimation from consumer for start of season was obtained, the season of the consumer was started on 16.01.2015 and seasonal mmc of 4.5 months charged to the consumer for the period 16.01.2015 to 31.05.2015 in the bill issued on 12.06.2015 is fully recoverable.The Committee agreed and decided that the Seasonal MMC charged to the consumer is fully recoverable.
