4.  ਵਰਨਣ Meter of the consumer was replaced on the basis of D Code on 18.03.2014. As per ledger reading of the consumer was 9565 while in the ME lab the reading was found to be 99565 on 4.04.2014. The internal auditor issued half margin of Rs. 664838 on this basis and the consumer was first issued notice by Sub Division Office and then the amount was charged in the bill issued to consumer on 18.05.2015.
5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ The Committee directed that the checking of the house of consumer be done. The checking was done by two Assistant Engineers on 23.10.2015. As per checking the load of the consumer was found to be 1.953 KW and no appliance of heavy energy consumption was found. The meter of the consumer was found to be normal and outside the house duly secured in MCB. Presenting Officer of PSPCL submitted that as per LDHF formulae the monthly consumption of the consumer is 141 units and the average monthly consumption of last three years of the consumer is approximately equal to this. After hearing the Presenting Officer and analyzing the consumption data of the Consumer the Committee concluded that consumer was wrongly charged Rs. 664838/- and this amount is not recoverable from him.
