4.  ਵਰਨਣ On date 23/9/2007 the consumer issue bill of 52200 units of RS 225010/-. The consumer challanged the bill by paying 2100 rs BA 16 509/93589 dt 8/10/2007 and 50% amount 112505 vide receipt no 347 dated 8/10/2007. The consumer account was checked by Xen enforcement shri mukatsar sahib on dated 11/10/07 and found meter was make of duke default series and report to change the meter. the consumer meter was changed on 1/2008 and return to ME Lab by AE shri mukatsar Sahib on dated 27/11/2009. As per ME report memo no 35 dated 7/1/2010 found meter correct and after DDL of meter also done.AS per DDL report no jumping of meter was found. During the period the concerned office deduct surcharge amount and consumer pay the regular bill.

1 Fri 11, Nov 2016  In the hearing date the consumer said the surcharge and the bill amount was incorrect and no to be payble him. PIO explain the case fact and figure. After hearing the PIO and the consumer the committee decided that meter was changed in 1/2008 but return to ME Lab on date 21/11/2009 the concerned held responsible for not return the meter for period 1/2008 to 11/2009. The committee order to initiate disciplinary action against the concerned JE. RA of the Sub Division does not make the meter changed clear and deposited the consumer bill after deducting surcharge from 2010 to till date. The Committee decided to initiate disciplinary action against the RA&AEE for not taking any action tom overhall the case. the bill issue for the month 9-07 Rs 2,25,010 is correct the committee decided to recover compounded interest as per instructions of PSPCL on amt 1,12,505 from 08-10-07 to 12-08-16 . the consumer account should be overhall after peraudit .
