5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case again came up for hearing before the Committee on 24.01.2017. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. Sh. R.L. Midha Managing Director, appeared before the Committee. The Committee studied the report of ASE/MMTS-2 Jalandhar bearing memo no.20 dated 23.01.2017, wherein it has been made clear that “ metering equipment is working properly and measuring energy parameters accurately. The fault lies at consumer end due to non-alignment of capacitors bank/capacitors as per load conditions and this is the prime factor of steep rise in KVAH reading”. During discussion on the case, Sh. R.L. Midha Managing Director confirmed that presently the PF from the same meter is OK. The Committee discussed the case in detail, and was in full agreement with the report submitted by Addl. SE/MMTS-2 PSPCL, Jalandhar and there is no merit in the submission of the consumer that higher consumption of KVAH was due to fault in meter installed in 9/2016. Therefore, it was decided that bill issued in 9/2016 is in order and recoverable from the consumer.

1 Tue 22, Nov 2016  This case came up for hearing before the Committee on 22-11-2016. Er. Gopal Sharma, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. Sh. R.L. Midha Managing Director, consumer in person appeared before the Committee. He submitted his representation which has placed on record and the copy of the same has been supplied to Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar for his comments who will do the same within 7 days and supply to the Committee with a copy to the consumer for his rebuttal(if any). The Dy. CE/DS Circle was further directed to supply the consumption data for the last 3 years with dates of reading, ME/Lab report and DDL print out containing disputed period. The case is adjourned to the next date.
