5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case again came up for hearing before the Committee on 03.08. 2017. Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. Sh.Tarun Sehgal appeared before the Committee on behalf of the consumer. The case has been discussed at length and the committee unanimously decided that the consumption of 1015 units per month be taken as the basis for the disputed period i.e. 11/2015 to 04/2016. The case is decided accordingly and the account of the consumer be overhauled as per decision of ZDSC.

1 Wed 26, Apr 2017  This case came up for hearing before the Committee on 26.4.2017. Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. Sh.Tarun was present on behalf of the consumer. He was directed to produce power of attorney from the consumer to represent his case and submit detailed representation within 7 days to the Dy CE/Op Circle Jalandhar who will submit his comments to the Committee within the next 7 days thereafter with a copy to the consumer.
The committee has gone through the records and observed that the cause of dispute is not clear and directed Dy CE/Op to ensure the deposit of entire undisputed amount besides deposit of 20% of the disputed amount, within 10 days. He was also directed to submit, month/bill-wise detail of actual disputed amount, consumption data (with old/new reading dates) from 2013 onwards, readable copy of MCO/ME/lab report/challan, DDL report (if any) and connection of the consumer be got checked from competent official and present LCR (containing connected load, status of present meter etc.) on the next date of hearing. . The case is adjourned accordingly.
2 Tue 13, Jun 2017  This case again came up for hearing before the Committee on 13.06. 2017. Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. Sh.Tarun Sehgal appeared before the Committee on behalf of the consumer. He produced Power of Attorney which has been placed on record.
The case was discussed at length by the Committee. The complete record/information was not produced to the committee. Therefore, Dy CE/Op Circle, Jalandhar was again directed to ensure compliance as per minutes of ZDSC meeting dated 26.4.2017. Further, Addl.SE/Op Model Town Div Jalandhar shall also appear before the committee alongwith complete details and breakup of disputed amount, as the same is not clear in the data put up before the Committee. The case is adjourned accordingly.
