5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case again came up for hearing before the Committee on 03.08. 2017. Er. Sanjiv Kumar, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Nawanshehar presented the case before the Committee. Dy. CE/Op Circle Nawanshehar has stated that the disciplinary departmental action has been initiated against the concerned meter reader and AJE for making wrong reading entries. He has further informed the committee that the amt. due has already been recovered from the consumer and nothing is due form the consumer. The case is decided accordingly.

1 Wed 26, Apr 2017  This case came up for hearing before the Committee on 26.4.2017. Er. Sanjeev Kumar, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Nawanshehar presented the case before the Committee. Smt Harbans Kaur mother of Sh Jasbir Singh appeared before the committee. She was directed to submit representation/petition within 7 days to the Dy CE/Op Circle Nawanshehar for his comments within the next 7 days thereafter to the Committee with a copy to the consumer for his rebuttal, if any. Deputy CE/Op Circle Nawanshehar was directed to submit consumption data from 1/2011 onwards (alongwith dates of old/new readings), legible/readable copy of store challan/ME lab report and month/bill wise detail of disputed amount (Rs.146520/-). He was further directed, to get the reasons of abnormal delay in testing the challenged meter in ME/lab, investigated and submit report to the committee. The case is adjourned accordingly.
2 Tue 13, Jun 2017  This case again came up for hearing before the Committee on 13.6.2017. Er. Sanjeev Kumar, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Nawanshehar presented the case before the Committee. Smt Harbans Kaur mother of Sh Jasbir Singh appeared before the committee. The case was discussed at length by the committee. The conduct of the Junior Engineer concerned in this case has been observed to be unappreciable. Dy CE/Op Nawanshehar was directed to submit detailed report in this regard indicating the name of the J.E. Further, the working of the Meter Reader and the readings/consumption recorded by him was observed to be doubtful. Dy CE/Op Nawanshehar was further directed to submit report in this regard also indicating the name of the meter reader and detail of his employer firm/company, besides comments on the M.E.Lab report. The case is adjourned accordingly. The consumer/representative in this case need not appear before the Committee, on the next date of hearing.
