5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case again came up for hearing before the committee on 13.06.2017.Er. Paewinder Singh, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the committee.Sh. Rocky Chadha consumer appeared before the committee and explained that the meter has been installed in very old building, nobody is leaving there and supply from the connection is rarely used.The connection was also checked by the official of PSPCL on 08.05.2017 and vide LCR No.78/2002, it has been repoted that premises where connection (A/C No. CK11/1188-DS) is existing is used as godown of Tiles & Sanitary material & nobody is residing there.The official also confirmed this fact from the neighbor of the Petitioner. The case was discussed in the committee and decided that the amount of the consumer be over-hauled from billing month 09/2016 (when consumption of 2664 units was recorded) to the date of change of meter i.e. 22.02.2017 with average consumption of 100 units bi-monthly and amount be recovered accordingly. Further, ASE/Op Model Town shall ensure necessary action as per rules, for use of supply for godown of Tiles and Sanitary material, from DS connection.

1 Wed 26, Apr 2017  This case came up for hearing before the Committee on 26.4.2017. Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee.Sh. Rocky Chadha consumer appeared before the committee in person. . He was directed to submit his representation if any, within 7 days to the committee with a copy to Dy CE/Op Circle Jalandhar who will submit his comments thereon within the next 7 days thereafter with a copy to the consumer for his rebuttal (if any). The Dy CE/Op Jalandhar was directed to ensure to produce the challenged/disputed meter before the Committee along with the consumption data from 1/2012 onwards (with dates of old/new readings), and get the connection of the consumer checked from competent officer/ official and present LCR (containing connected load, status of present meter etc.) on the next date of hearing. The inspecting Officer should also enquire from the neighbours about the possession and purpose of use of this premises/supply from the connection during the previous 1-2 years. The case is adjourned accordingly.
