5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case came up for hearing before the Committee on 04.09. 2017. Er. Inderpal Singh, ASE/Op M T Div Jalandhar on behalf of Dy CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar, presented the case before the Committee. Sh Deepak Gupta appeared before the committee in person and explained that the working of meter was Nov.14 to May 2015. Er Inderpal Singh, ASE/Op M T Jalandhar also appeared before the Committee and explained that during the period for which the account have been over-hauled, the meter functioning was Okay. He produced the report of JE to support the justification. Considering the subsequent data, the committee decided that the amount charged due to over-hauling the account, is not in order and should be refunded. The Committee also observed that from the consumption data, that the average in Jan. 2016 has been only 738 units which is not in order. The Committee decided the corresponding month, year consumption which is 2520, be charged in lieu of 738. The case is decided accordingly.

1 Thu 03, Aug 2017  This case came up for hearing before the Committee on 03.08. 2017. Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. Sh Deepak Gupta appeared before the committee in person and he has filed the power of attorney and petition which has been placed on record and a copy of the same has been supplied to Dy CE/Op Circle Jalandhar for his comments within 7 days with a copy to the consumer for submission of his rebuttal, if any, within the next 10 days thereafter. The case is adjourned accordingly.
