5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case, again, came up for hearing before the Committee on 24.11.2017. Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. Smt. Jaswant Kaur appeared before the committee in person. As per the case, the consumer was charged for 17261 units for the month of 3/4/2017 and the consumer challenged the meter. The meter was taken to M.E.Lab. and was found OK. The consumer did not agree with it and put his case to the ZDSC. The data of the consumer was analyzed by the Committee. During the last meeting, Dy CE/OP. Circle Jalandhar was asked to get the load of the consumer checked and report be produced in the next meeting. As per the LCR, the load of the consumer was found .813 KW and its MCB and MTC Seals were found missing. The Committee observed that the consumption data of the consumer after change of meter and found that the consumption of the meter is on the higher side. So, the committee decided that the consumer be charged for the period 19.04.2016 to 03.04.2017 @ 727 units per cycle during which the status of the meter was ‘F’ being average consumption recorded for the period 04/2017 to 10/2017 . Further, the Committee directed Dy. CE/Op Circle Jalandhar that the meter of the consumer be got sealed properly and its consumption be watched.

1 Thu 26, Oct 2017  This case came up for hearing before the Committee on 26.10.2017. Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy. CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. Smt. Jaswant Kaur appeared before the committee in person.She was directed to submit her representation within 10 days to Dy CE/Op Circle, Jalandhar who will submit his comments thereon within the next 10 days with a copy to the consumer for his rebuttal, if any. The LCR (not below the rank of AEE/AE) and upto date consumption data in this case be also submitted to the committee on the next date. The case is adjourned accordingly.
