5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case, again, came up for hearing before the Committee on 24.11.2017. Dy. CE/DS Circle, Nawanshehar submitted the case to the Committee members and explained that the consumer for the period July 2010 to January 2016 was charged under CS category instead of DS category being applicable to Govt. Hospital . During scrutiny of the case by the Committee, it has been found that Commercial Tariff was being charged to SMO, Civil Hospital, Garhshankar instead of DS Tariff as applicable to Govt. Hospitals, for the period July 2010 to January 2016. An amount of Rs. 1,95,137/- was excess charged to the consumer and the refund was got pre-audited from the Accounts Officer/ Field, Hoshiarpur. The Committee decided that the amount be refunded to the consumer and adjusted in future energy bills.

1 Thu 26, Oct 2017  This case came up for hearing before the Committee on 26.10.2017. Dy. CE/DS Circle, Nawanshehar already submitted the case to the Committee members. Sh.Gagandeep Pharmacist, employee of the Hospital appeared before the committee. He was directed to submit his representation within 10 days to Dy CE/Op Circle, Nawanshehar who will submit his comments thereon within the next 10 days with a copy to the consumer for his rebuttal, if any. The case is adjourned accordingly.
