5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case came up for hearing before the Committee on 30.01.2018. Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. The consumer Sh. Ravi Bhushan attended the meeting and intimated that he took new connection and first bill was issued in month 5/17 for 279 units and in the month of 7/17 the bill was issued for 9369 units and he challenged the meter. Again in the month of 9/17, consumption as per old meter was 10939 units and as per new meter installed after removal of challenged meter, the consumption was recorded as 271 units during 11/17, the consumption was 290 units and in the month of 01/18, consumption was 230 units. The meter of the consumer was checked in ME Lab and found to be OK. The Committee observed that the sanctioned load of the consumer is 2.980 KW and load checked on dt 8.1.18 is within the sanctioned load. The committee observed that consumption of 9369 units and 10939 units is not feasible within load of 2.980 KW. The committee decided that the account of the consumer be overhauled as per LDHF formula from the date of the connection to date of change of meter. The account of the consumer to be overhauled accordingly.
