5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case again, came up for hearing before the Committee on 23.03.2018. Er. Suvarsha, Sr XEN/Tech./DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. The consumer Sh. Sarabjit Singh appeared before the committee. As per previous meeting minutes, the detailed report of the consumer case was presented. As per report, the meter of the consumer was changed during 06/2016 at final reading of 31600 units. The consumption of the consumer for the period 03/2016 to 06/2016 was recorded as 16924 units. The Committee deliberated the case and after going through the consumption data of the consumer, observed that the consumption of the consumer prior to change of meter and after change of meter is around 800 to 900 units per bi-monthly but the consumption of this disputed period is 16924 units which is very much on higher side and the Committee decided that the account of the consumer for the period March 2016 to June 2016 be over-hauled @ 857 units per bi-monthly i.e. the average consumption recorded prior to the change of meter. The account of the consumer be over-hauled accordingly.

Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy.CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee.
Sh. Inderpal Singh brother of the consumer appeared before the committee in person. He was directed to submit his representation within 10 days to Dy CE/Op Circle, Jalandhar who will submit his comments thereon within the next 10 days with a copy to the consumer for his rebuttal, if any. The LCR (not below the rank of AEE/AE) and ME Lab checking report if available in this case be also submitted to the committee on the next date. The case is adjourned accordingly.
