5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case came up for hearing before the Committee on 23.05.2018. Er.Pawan Kumar ASE/Tech , Kapurthala presented the case before the Committee. Er.S.S Sangha President Sant Hira Dass Kanya College appeared before the committee and explained that institution is charitable in nature and request for levy of DS tariff instead of NRS tariff. He was explained the provision CC No.26/16 Annexure-2, Sr.No.SVI.1.2 as per which charitable institution are not entitled for DS tariff as such committee observed that NRS tariff is rightly applicable on such charitable institution. Hence amount charged is recoverable.
