5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case again, came up for hearing before the Committee on 29.08.2018. Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee. Neither consumer nor any Rep. of the consumer appeared before the committee. The Committee observed that as per the M.E. Lab report, the meter of the consumer was found defective. The Committee after going through the Consumption data observed that consumption of the consumer is around 500-700 units whereas during the month 08/17, the consumer billed for 13051 units. The consumer challenged the meter and as per the report of M.E.Lab. ,the account of the consumer was again over-hauled @ 33% slowness. In this case, the meter may be treated as defective as per ME Lab. report. So, the amount charged as slowness of the meter may be with-drawn. Due to defective meter , average be charged on LDHF factor i.e. 1368 units per month . Hence,4013 units for the period 05.06.2017 to 31.08.2017 be charged instead of 13351 units . The consumer’s account be over-hauled accordingly.

1 Wed 23, May 2018  This case again came up for hearing on 23.05.18 before the Committee. Er. Suvarsha Sr.Xen/Tech.Op Circle Jalandhar presented the case. Sh. Pawinder singh Suri appeared before the committee on behalf of the consumer. The Committee instructed the P.O. to submit LCR & consumption data after checking the premises of the consumer. He was also asked to submit rebuttal obtained from the consumer along with his comments in the next meeting. The case is adjourned to the next date accordingly.
2 Thu 12, Jul 2018  This case again, came up for hearing before the Committee on 12.07.2018.
Er. Parwinder Singh, Dy CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar presented the case before the Committee.
S. Parvinder Singh rep. of the consumer appeared before the Committee. As per the minutes of the previous Meeting, Dy CE/ Op Circle Jalandhar was asked to check the load of the consumer. As the consumer was out of India, so his load could not be checked. Now as per request of the consumer, again, Dy CE. Op Circle Jalandhar was asked to check the load of the consumer and submit his report before the next date. The case is adjourned accordingly.
