5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ This case was again presented by Er. H S Bansal, Dy CE/ DS Circle, Jalandhar on 03.06.2019before the Committee. Sh. Amit Singh Rep. of the consumer appeared before the Committee in person. Consumer submitted a representation in writing that the slowness declared by the checking agency of 62.58% is not correct. He argued that going by the declared slowness, his revised consumption comes out to be on such a higher side which was never recorded before the meter being declared defective or after correcting the connections of the meter. Committee was also of the view that revised consumption on the basis of which consumer has been charged Rs,3,33,357/- is not compatible to his past or present consumption and sanctioned load. The Committee as such decided to charge the consumer on basis of LDHF consumption for the period of six months beyond the date of actual checking instead of slowness factor 62.58%. The case is decided accordingly. Further, if the consumer is not satisfied with the above decision, he has the right to approach CGRF, Ludhiana within stipulated period of 60 days.

1 Fri 26, Apr 2019  This case was presented by Er. H S Bansal, Dy CE/ DS Circle, Jalandhar on 26.04.2019before the Committee . Dy CE/DS Circle, Jalandhar told the Committee that Telephone message was received from the consumer that due to some very urgent work, he is not able to attend the meeting today i.e. on 26.04.2019. The Committee sympathetically viewed the message and asked Dy CE/DS Jalandhar to ensure the presence of the consumer before the Committee in the next meeting. The case is adjourned accordingly.
