4.  ਵਰਨਣ the consumer increased the load of his commercial connection from 12.360 KW to 21.445 KW/23.828 KVA in the month of 07/2020, due to which the consumer\'s billing was started to be based on the KVAH reading. According to the JE\'s report dated 28.07.2020, the meter reading is 55287 KWh and 58165 KVAH. On 04.01.2021, KWH reading was 57587 and KVAH reading was 88209, due to which a bill of Rs. 246090 was raised. The consumer challenged his meter which was found to be correct as per the ME report, with which the consumer did not agree.

1 Fri 16, Dec 2022  This case was presented before the committee by the Superintendent Engineer, Ds Circle, Sh. Muktsar Sahib.
In this case the consumer appeared himself. He told that a wrong bill of 30,000 units has been sent to him in the month 01/2021, with which he does not agree.
The P.O. stated before the committee that the consumer increased the load of his commercial connection from 12.360 KW to 21.445 KW/23.828 KVA in the month of 07/2020, due to which the consumer's billing was started to be based on the KVAH reading. According to the JE's report dated 28.07.2020, the meter reading is 55287 KWh and 58165 KVAH. On 04.01.2021, KWH reading was 57587 and KVAH reading was 88209, due to which a bill of Rs. 246090 was raised and the consumer challenged his meter which was found to be correct as per the ME report. Hence, the amount charged to the consumer is correct and recoverable.
