4.  ਵਰਨਣ As told by the Consumer\'s representative before committe, Although the load of the said account is very less, the consumer has been charged an additional amount for load in the bills from February 2021 to August 2021, which is not correct. Even on the replaced meter after the meter was challenged by the consumer, the load is running very less. P.O. told before the committee that the connection of the consumer is the account of ICICI Bank. Due to high MDI from the consumer, the meter was challenged, but according to the challenge report of ME Lab, the reading of the meter was found to be correct and DDL could not be done. The consumer has been charged a demand surcharge from the month 01/2021 to 08/2021 due to higher MDI.
5.  ਫੈਸਲਾ After hearing the PO and examining the records submitted by him, the committee decided that the amount of demand surcharge charged to the consumer from 07.01.2021 to 25.08.2021 is not recoverable from the consumer. Therefore, the refund due after amending the consumer\'s account should be given after pre-audit. Apart from this, disciplinary action should be initiated against the official who has recorded wrong MDI

1 Mon 06, Mar 2023  The record presented by the P.O. was examined by the committee and it was found that as per the consumption data of the consumer ,the MDI recorded from the month 10/2020 to the month 08/2021 (till the meter was changed), does not seem to be correct. The MDI of the consumer has been recorded significantly low since the meter was changed.
